King of the Mountains Competition - A King of the Mountain Hot Spot is on this race - Masters and Ladies members in the seeded groups will receive points for the first three places per group at the Hot Spot - At the end of the season the King of the Mountain per racing group will be crowned -  At the Hot Spot there will be two marshals recording rider numbers as they cross the line. They will be standing two or three metres before the line so that they can see rider numbers on your back. Please make sure your number and group letter is visible. Number to be pinned lower left side of shirt, on your back pocket of your shirt. NOT in the middle of your back. First three positions recorded for points system. - The following circuits make up the King of the Mountain series: Pressleyx2 / Poulterx1 Circuit 55km Hot spot is on the third sister on the second lap, approximately 35km into race. The line is our finish line on the third sister when we use Cows Corner as a starting venue. Butterfield / Maitland Circuit 55km Hot spot is on the highest point of Maitland Hill, approximately 35km into race. The line is on the crest just before descending down again. George Jacobs Circuit 66km Hot spot is on the third sister when the second loop of the circuit is done, approximately 47km into race. The line is our finish line on the third sister when we use Cows Corner as a starting venue. Top Herald Circuit 60km Hot spot is on the highest point of Maitland Hill, approximately 42km into race. The line is on the crest just before descending down again. Five Hills Circuit 65km Hot spot is on Theescombe Hill (Welcome Avenue), approximately 37km into race. The line is on the crest of the hill. The road has started to flatten out already. There is a new white line lower down the hill which is not our line.
