PORT ELIZABETH to CAPE TOWN
 

"VISION" of this "Tour" is to get a group of cyclists together (+/- 24) and to cycle from PE  to Cape Town. This is the 3rd "Tour" being done.

"Skrik vir Niks Cycle Tour", starts on Saturday 17 September 2011 and ends on 23 September 2011. The aim of the "Skrik vir Niks Cycle Tour" is to collect money for the Heart and Stroke Association, who support people who have suffered from strokes and heart problems. All of us know of someone who has suffered from these problems and there are some of us who are cycling on this tour who have also suffered from one or both. The people who we are collecting for, need to have rehabilitation and who cannot afford it and at the same time bring a Safe Cycling Awareness to motorist and cyclist.

Franschoek / Stellbosch (via Spier Wine Farm – LUNCH) / Belville / V&A Water Front / Formula1Hotel

Return by road to Port Elizabeth

Sightseeing on Route
We will be visiting Storms River Mouth and Knysna Waterfront
Wake up in Knysna with tame buck taking a stroll through the garden.
Relax at the pool in Mosselbay. Go see Fairyland in Swellendam. Set foot at the most Southern Tip of Africa - Cape Agulhas
Trace your family tree at the Taal Mounument in Franshoek
Stop at Spier Wine Farm for some brilliant wine
End at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town for a bit of afternoon shopping.
What a week it will be no phones, total relax and do what we love best, CYCLING
