Iron Man "Gate-Crashers"

At todays race, Top Herald Circuit, there was a number of Iron Man participants that joined in our race and rode the entire race route between our groups. This practice of "gate-crashing" an organised event is unethical and bad sporsmanship. If you want to ride the race, enter the proper way and pay your entry fee and you are welcome to ride the race. We allow all riders of any age to participate in our OPEN Series which starts 10 minutes before the Masters groups.

Remove your time trial bars, pay your entry fee, then you are most welcome to ride the race.

OPEN Series and Visitors for new season

An OPEN Inter-Club Summer Series will be held in conjuction with Masters and Ladies racing. The 15 handicap races will be open to non members of any age to participate in. The OPEN Inter-Club Summer Series will start 10 minutes before the A group. ALL VISITORS that normally qualify to participate in M&L racing groups will automatically be included in the series and will not start with the M&L seeded groups.

:: More detailed information regarding the series

Points Competitions for new season

Our racing in future will consist of two different points competitions. 1) Age Group Points and 2) Handicap Points.
1) Age Group Points - consist of four races, Age Group Race, Dolphin x3, Time Trial and Hill Climb. Race will have no handicaps and points will be scored per Age Group on Actual Time
2) Handicap Points - consists of 15 races, excludes the four Age Group race and Steak Race. Handicaps will be applied and points accumulated on handicap time. 14 of the 15 races points will count towards overal competition

Mike Bosch Properties Steak race does not form part of either competition as this is the clubs charity event. No handicaps and no points will apply. We all ride for charity.
